Considering the importance of Pre University Dr M C Ravindranath founded Oxford Independent PU College in the year 2006. The College has been imparting education without compromising in the discipline, quality of teaching and the results. We also offer quality education to economically backward class and middle-class students with the aim of giving an opportunity to more people at an affordable cost.

PRINCIPAL, OXFORD INSTITUTIONS - DR. B.R SUPREETH. MCA, MBA and PHD
Dr.B.R. Supreeth is a successful, passionate educationist with 18 Yrs. of experience who designs academic curricula at various levels having multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Science and Management. He is both state and National awardee for his services in the field of Education. His creative teaching methods for different sets of students from schools, colleges and Universities. He has served several Universities across the globe in various capacities since 2005.
He is presently the Syndicate Member of Bangalore North University, nominated by the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, Bangalore.
He is a certified corporate trainer on AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) at a few companies in India and the Middle East. Also, a media panellist for thousands of debates and writes articles on Print Media for the fraternity of teachers and students.
He is a Founder Member and Vice-President of “The Zero Waste Society of India” at the Indian Institute of Science, an organization that works for a Scientific, Environmental and Social Cause closely working with various manufacturing industries by providing solutions without affecting the environment.
Currently, he is also the Principal of Oxford PU and Degree College, Ullal, Bangalore and heads Oxford Institutions, Nagarabhavi and Ullal, Bangalore as secretary of the Organisation.
He is the Vice-President of the Pre-University Colleges Principal’s Association in Bangalore. Being a passionate teacher in Physics for +1and +2 levels, his students have excelled in JEE Mains and Advance by securing top ranks even in recent years. His role as a Principal has provided leadership, direction and coordination to many student fraternities. His honorary services in training for competitive exams of CET to students of various Government run +2 Colleges have been applauded by the Department of Education. His main focus is to develop and maintain effective educational programs and promote the improvement of teaching and learning.

PUC Admissions
OXFORD INSTITUTIONS is affiliated to Pre-University Board, Government of Karnataka, India and offers 2-year Pre-University programs as per the guidelines of P U Board, Govt. of Karnataka. Admission to the Pre-University Course shall be open to the candidates who have passed the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/10th standard or any other examination recognized by the Pre-University Board as equivalent to the Karnataka (India) SSLC program for the purpose of admission.
Admission of candidates from outside the state of Karnataka or candidates belonging to foreign countries shall be made only on the production of the Provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by the Director of Pre-University Education Board, Bangalore India.
Facilities
OIPUC is an integrated PU College which provide coaching for
CET/NEET/JEE MAIN/JEE ADVANCE along with PU Board Syllabus for Science
stream.
CPT caching for Commerce Stream.
Well equipped laboratory and library are the highlights of the
college.
SMS facility is extended which provide the details of attendance, test
scores and all the information of the ward to the parents.
PTMs are scheduled as per the guidelines of PU board and intimated to
Parents through phone calls and SMS well in advance so that they can
attend the meeting without fail.
Transport facility with GPRS is available for the students.
The college campus is under CCTV surveillance 24X7 to ensure safety
and security for the students.
Weekly tests, term exams and preparatory exams are compulsory part of
the curriculum.
Assignments will be given after the completion of each chapter.
Mentoring system will be in place during revision sessions.
Study Materials
Extensive study materials comprising both PU Board and competitive examinations will be provided by the college.
Along with the hard copy of the materials, TAB will be provided to every student with the pre loaded study materials
Study materials called OXFORD MATE which will be helpful for the students to access information easily and quickly.
SUKRUTHA - Cultural & Sports Activities
Apart from excellent coaching by highly qualified and experienced faculty, the students are provided with ample opportunities to participate in and witness various cultural programs and spectacular performances. Regular sports and games activities help them to be strong and healthy.
